Brainsport Times Nov. 11, 2015
On this day we remember all those who have served our country — thank you. We'll be back next week with a Q&A — for this week, simply take some time to remember.
A reminder, we won't be hosting Run Club this evening, but if you're interested in getting out for a fun group run, check out the SRRA's Remembrance Day Run (details below).

Upcoming Events:
SRRA's Remembrance Day Run
Wednesday, November 11 at 2 p.m. Starting at Nutana Collegiate front doors. This a 90 minute easy fun/educational run, making stops at some of Saskatoon's war memorials. There's no charge for the run, so come explore and remember those who have served. Refreshments will also be served.
Lighten Up! Fun Run
Get out your bells, and battery-operated l.e.d. lights. Decorate yourself for a fun run on the first day of winter. Hot beverages, and dainties pre-run provided by D'lish. No fee, no registration, just fun. Bikes are welcome.

Fall Triathlon Training
Transition Sport and Fitness' Fall Triathlon Training Program starts this week and there are still a few spots open to Swim, Bike, & Run (with 1, 2, or 3 times per week options). All abilities welcome. If you've ever wanted to try triathlon (or perhaps receive some technical swim instruction by an international-level coach) now is your chance. Leg Speed for Triathletes and Runners
ZONE Sports Physiotherapy's Friday Morning Track Session is a go at the Saskatoon Field House. 24 sessions, starting November 6 to December 18, resuming again January 8 to April 29.
Time: 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. Cost: $360 for all 24 sessions. Minimum of 8 athletes, maximum of 20 athletes. Please email Brad Spokes at
Winter Run Clinic
Saturday, November 14 the SRRA's Peter Goode will be at Brainsport to talk about how to prepare for winter running. Learn about proper footwear, biggest challenges, safety gear, best trails, proper clothing and more. This is a free clinic starting at 11 a.m. There will be a chance to ask questions to ensure you get all the information you need to make it a great season!
Yoga for Triathletes and Runners
Looking to up your overall human performance? Come sign up for ZONE Sports Physiotherapy's Thursday Night Yoga Classes with Instructor Josh Safronetz, Baptiste Institute Yoga Instructor in training. In these classes, you will learn:
-Where you are now in your alignment and movement patterns and how to increase movement and mobility
-Simple stretches and exercises that can be performed almost anywhere with minimal equipment
-Basic anatomical and biomechanics concepts to help you make conscious habit changes to improve your body's alignment and improve how you feel!
