Welcome to Saskatoon
Saskatoon is a vibrant progressive city located along the banks of the Saskatchewan River. A walk along the Meewasin Valley pathways that follows the river will expose the full Beauty of the city to those experiencing it for the first time. Saskatoon has been referred to as "The Paris of the Prairies". Our downtown area is along the river and provided a gorgeous backdrop with scenery such at the Delta Bessborough "The Bez" as its referred to by locals and 4 bridges spanning the Saskatchewan river.
The downtown is dotted with numerous local business of every description from shoes to watches and dozens of fabulous restaurants and nightspots. The Midtown Center is a large draw with ample underground parking and 2 floors of major chain stores providing you a great way to spend a day.
The local flavor of Saskatoon old and new can be found just a short walk west of downtown by visiting the Riversdale area with many featured restaurants and shops in a totally revitalized area. The Saskatoon Farmers Market is along the river on the south side of Riverdale and has daily and weekly markets with locally grown produce and crafts.
The downtown side of the river is home to River landing with a large promenade and walking and biking paths which is home to numerous local festivals every year.
