Brainsport Times Jan. 17, 2018
Hopefully you all have been able to keep warm, and get in some solid miles over the past few weeks. Perhaps we can help keep you warm with our Burn the Bill Sale! That's right, it's back for year two!
In this week's Q&A we're going to speak with Brian to learn more about the sale. But before we get to that, a quick note: For those who may not have heard, we're now offering an additional Run Club session every week. Join us on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. for a group run - all levels welcome.
Alright, now on to our chat with Brian!
Q&A with Brian Michasiw
Tara: Where did the idea for the Burn the Bill Sale come from?
Brian: It's so cold in January that we wanted to create a promotion that would "warm" the hearts of our customers. The way Burn the Bill works is this Saturday and Sunday we will draw customers receipts throughout the day. If your name is drawn we will refund your purchase (but you get to keep all your stuff!). We'll draw 5 times over the weekend.
Tara: There's been one other Burn the Bill Sale prior to this, which was obviously a success being you're back for round two. What do you think makes this a popular sale?
Brian: The last time we did this it really put a smile on our customers faces (especially the person who won!).

Tara: Is there any limit on the dollar amount that can be burned?
Brian: We'll limit each bill to $800.
Tara: In addition to burning someone’s bill on the weekend, there’s also a solid sale everyone can take advantage of. Would you mind telling us a bit more about that?
Brian: On Saturday (Jan. 20) and Sunday (Jan. 21) we'll have deals on running shoes, walking shoes, winter boots and clothing. anywhere from 10% to 70% off. Some exceptions will apply. We’ll be burning bills five times over the course of the weekend. On Saturday at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Then on Sunday at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. We’ll post the first name and initial of the winners on Facebook and then call them.
